Terms & Conditions.

The agreement between you and Continuing Education by Midwives, LLC when you use this website, our online communities of practice, or any course.

By accessing this website, registering for an account, or enrolling in a course course, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully as they describe your rights and obligations, and ours.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you and Continuing Education by Midwives, LLC ("we," "us," or "Excellence in Gyn"). By using the site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and a licensed or training healthcare professional.

2. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at once at contact@excellenceingyn.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Use of the Online Community (CoP)

Our online communities of practice (CoP) exist to support clinician-to-clinician discussion. By voluntarily participating and/or posting you agree to all content in our Privacy Policy, Education and Conduct Policy, and:

  • Treat fellow clinicians with professional respect.
  • Do Not share patient-identifying protected health information (PHI) or personally-identifying information (PII) of any kind.
  • Do Not identify or name any specific employer or organization.
  • Do Not post commercial promotions, recruiting, or unsolicited marketing.
  • Do not share actual patient cases, even if de-identified, in an attempt to seek consultative or any similar type of advice from others in the community. Do not give consultative advice.
  • Do Not redistribute another member's posts, recordings, or shared materials outside the online community.

We may remove posts or suspend accounts that violate these expectations.

4. Courses and Continuing Education Credit

CE credit is issued only upon completion of the activity and successful submission of any required attestations. Course content is for educational use by the registered learner and may not be redistributed, recorded, or used to train AI systems.

5. Intellectual Property

All course materials, digital content, videos, written content, templates, and visual aids are the property of Continuing Education by Midwives, LLC and protected by U.S. and international copyright law.

6. Disclaimer of Medical Advice

The educational content, discussions, materials, case reviews, templates, tools, and community interactions provided through this platform are intended solely for professional educational purposes and continuing education.

This platform is designed by clinicians for clinicians to support ongoing learning, professional development, workflow optimization, and implementation of evidence-informed practices. Participation in any course, discussion, community, or educational activity does not establish a provider-patient relationship and should not be interpreted as individualized medical, legal, billing, compliance, or professional advice.

Clinicians are solely responsible for exercising their own independent clinical judgment and for ensuring that any information, recommendations, workflows, or strategies discussed are appropriate to their individual patients, practice settings, institutional policies, licensing requirements, scope of practice, and applicable laws and regulations.

Educational content may include discussion of evolving evidence, emerging practices, differing professional perspectives, or participant experiences. The views expressed by presenters, facilitators, guest speakers, or participants do not necessarily reflect the views of the organization and should not be interpreted as definitive standards of care.

Participants are responsible for protecting personal and patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. No protected health information (PHI), identifiable patient information or personally identifiable information should be shared in course discussions, the Community of Excellence, live sessions, recordings, screenshots, or community spaces.

While we strive to provide accurate, current, and high-quality educational content, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, applicability, or outcomes associated with the use of any educational material provided through this platform.

By participating in these educational activities, users acknowledge and agree that all educational content is provided "as is" for informational and professional development purposes only.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the site or any course will not exceed the fees you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
