How we handle your information when you participate in our online continuing education services — and what you agree to by using them.

We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you participate in our online continuing education (CE) services. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information You Should Not Share

To protect your privacy and others, you must not share:

  • Protected Health Information (PHI) from yourself, a patient or any other person in any platform or format. Do not share a person's sensitive health details.
  • Personally Identifying Information (PII) in any platform or format.
  • The identity of employers or organizations, including naming, contextually identifying or specifically identifying any particular employer or organization. Do not share confidential employer, institutional, or organizational information. Internal policies, proprietary workflows, and protected workplace materials should remain private.

We design our online learning experience with privacy protections, but we still rely on you to follow these sharing limits.

Financial Information

We do not keep or store your financial information. All payment information is processed by Stripe. If you have questions about payment processing, you should review Stripe's privacy practices.

Recorded Sessions and Identity Protection

To protect identity, any recorded sessions do not allow camera or voice participation. Because live facilitated case reviews are intended to be recorded, do not share personally identifying information (PII) at any time and keep all participation to the webinar chat. If you participate in any live and recorded facilitated session, you should avoid disclosing or sharing sensitive information including self or patient PHI, PII, or identifiable employer or organization information. Recorded facilitated case reviews, of which you may have participated in, will be shared with other consumers for the purpose to meet requirements for accredited course completion.

No Sharing of Proprietary Content

For proprietary and privacy reasons, you must not take recorded facilitated case reviews, downloadable practice tools, prerecorded presentations or digital content and:

  • Share them with others.
  • Distribute them in any format.
  • Copy or re-post them outside of the intended course access.

Attendance Data for CE Requirements

We collect attendance at synchronous online events only as needed to meet continuing education requirements. We do not conduct research and we do not collect other data beyond what is necessary for CE attendance tracking and program administration.

Course Feedback Forms

We may use voluntarily completed course feedback forms to inform quality improvement. Participation is voluntary, and feedback is used to improve the content, delivery, and learning experience. We will always ask for permission to publish feedback for marketing purposes.

Email Communications With Your Permission

We may use your email to send you information about upcoming courses or updates, but only with your permission and you may unsubscribe at any time.

Data Sales

We do not sell your information.
