More Than Modules: Why We Built an Online Learning Community

Since 50% of the population is expected to move through menopause, menopause care touches nearly every patient panel. Due to evolving recommendations and research in menopause care, many clinicians and midwives feel unprepared to adequately help patients through this transition, and we often find ourselves navigating complex clinical questions, evolving evidence, and patients who are overwhelmed by conflicting information they've encountered online.
That gap is exactly why we decided to build more than passive learning; we provide translational learning opportunities through live online case-based discussions and supported online learning communities. Not just another course. Not just another webinar. A space designed for connection, learning, and collective clinical growth.
Here's why it felt necessary and why we believe this kind of community matters now more than ever.
Clinicians Need Community, Not Just Content
Providing gynecologic and menopause care can feel isolated, especially for clinicians practicing in settings where subspecialist backup is limited or nonexistent. Some clinicians are the "go-to" person in the clinic for menopause questions, abnormal bleeding, sexual health concerns, or hormone therapy decisions, and they do so without a strong peer network for support. Other clinicians find themselves taking on a new patient panel when another clinician moves or retires, and this can be an opportunity to recognize that more training and education is needed to provide quality care.
An online learning community creates space to:

The Evidence Is Evolving Fast

Patients are increasingly turning to social media, influencers, online forums and venture-capitalist online "clinics" for answers about gynecologic and menopause care. While some of this content is empowering, much of it is incomplete, misleading, incorrect, or predatory.
Clinicians are then left to:
Address fear generated by misinformation
Untangle inaccurate claims about supplements, hormones, and risks
Rebuild trust when online "advice" conflicts with clinical recommendations
By strengthening clinician knowledge and confidence, this community helps providers:
Respond clearly and compassionately to misinformation
