On Care
We believe gynecologic care can be transformed when clinicians learn together. Care should integrate evidence with highly individualized approaches that center each person’s needs, preferences, and lived experience. It should elevate individual self-efficacy, honor personal knowledge, and build relationships rooted in trust, continuity, and mutual respect.

The menopause transition is a universal physiological occurrence and it is also the most clinically neglected. This is the course we built to close that gap, and is a course for the clinicians who see these patients first.

01.Is it Menopause?This section focuses on helping clinicians accurately recognize, assess, and differentiate menopause within the context of whole-person gynecologic care. Participants explore the physiology and symptomatology of menopause, including surgical menopause, premature ovarian insufficiency, and late menopause, while learning to distinguish menopausal symptoms from other neuroendocrine, metabolic, or vulvovaginal conditions.

02.Approach to TreatmentThis section provides a comprehensive overview of evidence-based menopause treatment options through an individualized, symptom-focused lens. Clinicians learn how to evaluate and prioritize the patient’s most bothersome symptoms while considering hormonal, non-hormonal, lifestyle, behavioral, and interdisciplinary approaches to care.

03.Implementation into PracticeThis section translates menopause knowledge into sustainable clinical practice by focusing on workflow integration, operational efficiency, and long-term clinician development. Participants learn how to incorporate symptom screeners, follow-up structures, EMR tools, templates and billing and coding strategies into everyday patient care.

04.Advanced Clinical ConsiderationsThis section addresses the complexities and clinical nuance involved in caring for patients with challenging menopause presentations, treatment limitations, or significant comorbidities. Clinicians explore adverse treatment reactions, treatment failure, ethical shared decision-making, and menopause management in the context of cardiovascular disease, thrombophilias, osteoporosis, autoimmune vulvovaginal disease, hyperglycemia, and cancer risk or survivorship.
